UNDERGROUND TANKING MEMBRANES
Basement and underground tanking membranes to protect your below ground structure from water damage and penetration through weak points in the wet months.
Tanking Membranes are most commonly made from Volcay and Cemenentitious materials
DECKS, RAMPS &
PODIUMS
Liquid and Torch-on membranes to balcony and outdoor areas close to doorways and low windows where water and penetrate unless sealed correctly.
Most commonly made from
synthetic rubber or modified bitumen.
MEMBRANE ROOFING
Torch-On membranes are used to create a watertight roof
covering to protect the interior of a building.
Membrane roofs are most commonly made from synthetic rubber, thermoplastic
or modified bitumen.

Sahara Waterproofing is a family owned and operated company dedicated to providing our customers with top quality work using only the best cutting edge waterproofing products.
Located in the Auckland and Northland, our fully certified waterproofing team has over 40 years combined experience specialising in a variety of commercial and residential waterproofing projects.
We start by installing Tanking membranes to below ground structures, then move up the building installing Liquid membranes and products to balconies and low entry areas and joints. We then cover the roof in a Torch-on roofing membrane system to encapsulate the whole building, aiming to prevent any water ingress. These methods are highly recommended and meet both council and building regulations to provide a
watertight finish and warranty for clients.
